HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?
For most template customization packages the whole process takes between 2 - 4 weeks. This factors in some pretty quick turnaround times for your feedback! We’ll come up with a firmer timeline before we get started so you can launch on time.
DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Yes. I require a 35% deposit at the time of booking to hold the place in my calendar for your project. Your deposit is not refundable.
CAN I PAY IN MY OWN CURRENCY?
Probably. I accept payments in GBP, USD, CAD and EUR.
CAN I PAY IN INSTALMENTS?
You bet! I require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to hold the place in my calendar for your project. Your deposit is not refundable. The remainder is due to launch the site.
HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE COST OF MY template customization?
The cost depends on how many pages you need customized, how complex they are and if you need any custom design. E- commerce integration and long-form sales pages also impact the cost. We’ll agree on a project price before we get started so you’ll know the exact cost upfront!
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF MY PACKAGE?
You are responsible for paying for your Showit template. You also need to pay for your domain registration (usually with GoDaddy, BlueHost etc), your Showit subscription (monthly or yearly) as well as any fees for plugins, email marketing, e- commerce, scheduling or other apps you want to ingrate with your website.
You will also have to pay for any licensed fonts and images (otherwise you don’t have the right to use them!). I can help guide you through this process, though!
DO YOU CUSTOMIZE TEMPLATES FOR SQUARESPACE, WIX OR WORDPRESS?
Nope! Although I have worked with all of these platforms, I now design exclusively for Showit. Migrating over from another platform can seem scary, but I’m here to talk it over with you to see if it’s the right move for you and your business.
DO I GET TO GIVE FEEDBACK ON MY WEBSITE?
Absolutely! I want you to be over the moon with your new website. After our kickoff meeting, there will be lots of different points where your feedback will be critical. I’m here to offer my expertise on designing a website that converts for your business and clientele, but I’ll also listen to you and respect what you want.
WHAT THE HECK IS SHOWIT?
I’m so glad you asked! Showit is a truly drag-and-drop website builder that is as easy to use as Canva. It gives you complete creative freedom but also SEO superpowers since it uses WordPress for blogging.
You also have total control over how the mobile version of your website looks and feels (unlike any other website builder) so it’s easier to convert people visiting your website on their phones!
CAN YOU DO THE WRITING FOR MY WEBSITE?
I’m happy to offer copy coaching and support (as well as a handy workbook), but I do not write the words for you. If you want to hire someone, I have a great network of copywriters I can set you up with!
CAN YOU FIND A SHOWIT TEMPLATE FOR ME?
Sure! After a consultation call and getting to know you, your business and your audience I can find the perfect template for you. You are responsible for paying for the template.
