If you’ve been in the Showit world for even a short while, you’ve surely heard of Tonic website templates. They’re not just beautiful, cocktail-inspired designs; they’re built to convert.
And Tonic offers everything and anything your business could possibly need, from huge website templates with pages for your podcast, resources, coaching program, blog, social media links (along with all the usual pages) to single add-on canvases. So whether you need a whole new custom-feeling website, a long form sales page or just want to add a quiz, they’ve got something for you.
Tonic Site Shop is trusted by influencers like Jenna Kutcher, but also by loads of entrepreneurs at different points on their journies. From those just starting out to others who’ve been in business for awhile.
There are soooooo many reasons why people LOVE Tonic website templates:
What’s the downside? They’re more expensive than pretty much any other template out there. But don’t worry, I’ve got you…
Because I’ve had clients who just don’t have the time to customize their templates themselves I’m lucky to have worked on 4 different Tonic templates. I’ve seen firsthand how thrilled clients are with the end results.
And because of that, I’m also lucky to have partnered with the Tonic Site Shop to offer you 15% off any design in their shop. Just use my affiliate code at checkout:
I do get a small commission if you use the code, but you’re also saving 15% (and they only have one sale per year – Black Friday). Plus I highly recommend Tonic after working with their templates and seeing how happy they make my clients (and their clients, too).
Let’s walk through a few different examples so you can see if a Tonic website template is right for you!
Paula had purchased the Margarita Tonic template months before she got in touch with me. This is a top-shelf template with a huge number of pages, premium fonts and styled stock images. She had worked on it a bit, but was feeling a little stuck getting across the finish line. So we came up with a plan for not just getting the template customized, but making it a website that was totally Paula.
This involved developing the perfect color palette to suit her brand: vibrant, feminine and energetic. We also created a collection of stock photos to complement some of her brand photos, which she could also use on social media. These came from free sites like Pexels and Unsplash but also the styled stock site Social Squares.
The Margarita template comes with a podcast page, which Paula didn’t need, but we repurposed for a landing page for a free audiobook. We also pulled canvases from different pages to suit the services she offers and present them in the best way possible.
What Paula says she likes best about the Margarita template (after the look and feel), is that it has all the pages she needs now and will need as she grows her offerings and business. When she’s ready to start blogging, the pages are there for her. When she has the copy for a long form sales page, she got it in her library.
Her Tonic website template suits her now but will do so in the future, too, which means she won’t have to shell out for a designer later on. If you want to read more about our project or visit her live site, check out the case study here.

Brandy had set up a Wix website for her coaching business a few years ago, but was ready for a more elevated site. She purchased Tonic’s Paloma template, which was launched in fall 2021 as part of a collection of “lighter” templates. These have a lower price point and include fewer pages for those who just need a little less and want to launch their new Showit site even faster.
So we added Brandy’s copy and images to the template and set up a new Paloma sales page as well. We were also able to reuse canvases on different pages to make the most of her template (as well as doing some custom design).
Brandy had beautiful brand photos to use on her new Showit site, but just needed a little boost. So she – like Paula – joined Social Squares to level-up her website images. And the results are beautiful!
Plus Paloma comes with a WordPress blog template, so when Brandy’s ready, she can get her blog going, too. And – as with all Showit templates – she can reuse any page or canvas she wants as many times as she wants on her website.

Laura is a copywriter for luxury brands and wanted a website that would impress potential clients. So she moved from WordPress to Showit with Tonic’s popular Paper Plane template.
This is a deluxe design, with premium fonts, a huge number of pages and lots of gorgeous canvases. So it was a lot of work for Laura to add her own text and photos. She just needed some help making sure the mobile version looked good, integration with Flodesk for her email marketing and a couple of landing pages.
So we worked together on 2 Design Day Intensives to get everything cleaned up and looking beautiful for all her high-ticket visitors.

Sheri is a nutritionist who helps people struggling with autoimmune diseases. She wanted a website that better reflected her brand and moved from WordPress to Showit with Tonic’s Gin Fizz template.
By the time we started working together, Sheri had already added all her content and was launched (because it’s just so darned easy). I helped her integrate her site with Aweber email marketing and built out a new landing page to get people on her email list.
We also swapped out some of the images with others that were more suited to her brand. And we made sure her blog posts were looking perfect with categories and tags.
Tonic’s Gin Fizz template isn’t available anymore, but there are so many other beautiful designs for you to check out. Browse the collection here and don’t forget to use the code WILDROSE at checkout for 15% savings on any design.
